My name is Dalila and I am so happy to connect with you. To begin, I hope this message finds you safe and well! As we prepare for the new school year, I want to support anyone interested in dedicating time to prepare to teach with an anti-racist lens. PBS has shared a powerful tool that we can use as a collective.

The goal of this virtual viewing is to watch this in a brave space and create a dialogue that allows us as educators to actively listen, engage, empower one another and deepen our conocimiento (understanding) of actively teaching with an anti racist lens. Each video is one hour long and then there will be an hour of dialogue.

As of tomorrow evening I will choose 4 viewing dates that the majority has chosen. Please choose at least one time that works for you each week. I am hoping we can watch one video a week as it is a lot to process and you may want to rewatch the video before moving on to the next. (The date choices range from 8/7-9/1.)
